​​Welcome to my place!

My name is Arne and I have lived in Hanmer Springs since 2009. I am originally from the Netherlands, 

I just love the New Zealand outdoors and when I'm not working you'll find me on a horse, mountain bike or on foot exploring the stunning surroundings of Hanmer Springs.

I have been working in tourism for the last 16 years and have been lucky enough to have worked in The Netherlands, France, Norway, China, Tibet, Australia and New Zealand.

From all the places I have visited, Hanmer Springs really stood out on my first visit in 2006. When I was able to come back to live in New Zealand in 2009 it was an easy choice to opt for this wonderful little alpine village. Hanmer is surrounded by stunning conservation areas and has a lovely community. What’s not to love?​
